Promoting Growth Within The Family
Family Growth & SCOH (Services to Children in their Own Homes)
Through the Family Resource Center, The Lincoln Center offers in-home programs for families in need of support services. Services are offered to children and families residing in the Western end of Montgomery County with an emphasis on the Upper Perkiomen and Pottstown communities.


Services Provided

  1. Strengthening Skills to Survive Successfully
    Goal: To build and develop organizational skills, achieve personal goals, develop independence, and accept adult responsibilities.

  2. Developing Healthy Relationships
    Goal: To provide information and teach skills which foster healthy relations and positive cooperation within the family including conflict mediation.

  3. Managing Anger and Life’s Frustrations
    Goal: To learn and practice strategies to manage anger, resistant behavior and resolve conflict.

  4. Individual and Family Assistance through Support Counseling
    Goal: To provide individuals and families with skills to improve their ability to handle life’s crises and transitions.

Eligibility
The following are eligibility requirements for this program:

  1. Family must reside within Montgomery County, PA.

  2. A child in the family must be under 18 years of age.

  3. The child must be a U.S. Citizen or legal immigrant.

  4. Income guidelines do exist.
